A little about me: My main career focus since 2000 has been in massage therapy. I have worked for a variety of massage venues, such as day spas, high end spas, mediacl spas, resort spas and have had my own massage practice. With each workplace, I also gained experience in customer service, reception and office dutuies. And since my husband is a Web Developer, I have assisted him with the buildout of some websites as well as some basic html and css websites on my own.
Origanally from the Orange County, CA area, I moved to Vancouver, WA in January 2006 with my husband and 2 kids. That year I started my NW massage practice, Whole Life Massage, focusing on my specialties of pregnancy, therapeutic and infant massage. I had also been interested in purchasing an already exsisting massage/spa company and in October 2008 I purchased Classic Touch Day Spa in the Orchards area of Vancouver. Owning the spa was a great experience. I cleaned it up, added better quality to the products and services and had a great staff of massage therapists and estheticians. Unfortunately with the economy, I had to close the spa at the end of August 2008.
Now, I am focusing on Whole Life Massage, as well as anything else that may come my way. It would be great to have another spa or related health and wellness business once the economy is more stable. I love a good challange and assisting people and hope I will get the oppertunity to practice that more in the future.
